Remote learning (Self-Isolating)

Home learning tasks:

If your child is self-isolating due to waiting for a test result for themselves or an other family member the expectation is that they will continue with learning from home. We encourage the children to complete one lesson of Maths, Reading, Writing and another non -core activity daily.  If you have any problems accessing resources please do not hesitate to contact the school office.

Reading Links:

Pick an activity from each section, each day.

Home Reading: Please make sure that you read every day and record these reads in your Reading Record Book. Not only does this develop your fluency and comprehension of the text but it also allows you to escape to other worlds and have amazing adventures!

Reading comprehension: Please find this weeks reading comprehension attached at the bottom of this page.

English Spelling:

Try one of these activities a day.

English Grammar: Try the activity attached below.

Non -core activities: This could be in the form of P.E outside, or creating a piece of artwork. Our Current topic is 'Traiders and Raiders', your child could research and learn more about the Saxons and Vikings.
