£467.09 Raised for Sports Relief

£467.09 Raised for Sports Relief!

Oakdale Junior School participated in Sport Relief in many different ways during the course of the week 19-23rd March.  Sport relief wrist bands were sold, children took part in the different quizzes and on Friday children gave a £1 donation to wear their sports gear. At lunch times, many children took part in completing didi car laps around the courts whilst scores of others took to the field and completed laps either by simply running or walking. Lots of children though took on challenges of dribbling the football round, or jumping round in the sacks, skipping or hula hooping round. On Wednesday, during the Games lessons, all the children took part in ‘The Oakdale Obstacle Challenge’, climbing over hay bales, crawling under tarpaulin, negotiating chicanes, stepping through tyres and jumping hurdles. Total raised  £467.09. Well done to everyone who took part!
