Sports Day Field Event
On Thursday 29th June 2018, Year 3 and 4 took part in throwing for sports day. Everyone tried their best to throw the furthest to win. So each Year 3 and 4 had a flag with a number on it then they gave it to Miss Davies if they was a girl they had to throw a rounders ball but if you were a boy you had to throw a cricket ball. Each person had 3 tries to throw the furthest. After they threw they had to go and sit down .Then the sport leaders had to measure how far they threw. Then we knew who won.
After the throwing we helped out with the Year 6 boys long jump . All of the boys jumped over 3 metres: the furthest boy was Henry who jumped 4 metres 18, Archie came second with 3 metres 94 and Noah came third with 3 metres 84. Then all of the sports leaders had to go back to class.
