The School opened in 1997 as a purpose-built junior school catering for pupils aged 7-11 years. With 481 pupils on roll, it is regarded as a large school for this particular age range

 

The post

The School is seeking a teacher to take maths classes in Year 5 and 6, to join our dedicated team and share in our commitment to continuously strive for improvement for our pupils.

 

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, responsible person, who enjoys working with children.

The Headteacher and Governing Body are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, experienced cleaner to join the school cleaning team to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and general hygiene of the school premises.

 

Applicants should note that routine cleaning duties will include cleaning classrooms, corridors, office, toilets and will require duties such as vacuuming dusting, cleaning of washroom areas, tables, chairs etc.  At times this may include the moving and handling of cleaning equipment, chemicals, machinery, and some movement of furniture. In addition to cleaning some lifting may be required.  A good understanding of cleaning chemicals and equipment would be desirable.

 

The successful candidates will be friendly and helpful.  They will be working as part of a team, with responsibility for a specified area of the school. 

 

The postholder will be required to work some of the school summer holidays as part of the annual clean.

 

The usual working hours are:  Monday to Friday 3:30pm-5:30pm  and 15:30-16:30  Fridays.These could be negotiable for the right candidate.
