Curse of Tutankhamun

Curse of Tutankhamun

On Friday 30th Year 5  yet again showed off their talents in their wonderful performance of their Ancient Egyptian play ‘The Curse of Tutankhamun’. There was plenty to keep the audience on their toes this year, including the mummification of the infamous leader performed by 5VA through shadow work. All of the classes worked extremely hard. Combining the disciplines of dance and singing is not easy for many but the children rose to the challenge and yet again pulled it out of the bag! The parents/ carers once again made a huge effort with the costume and the children looked fabulous. Again, some children brought in costume and accessories for their peers to use which just shows their dedication and enthusiasm for their learning through drama, song and performance and what a team effort was made. A special thanks go to the children who gave up their lunchtimes to rehearse and also the children who created the set and props with Mrs Fricker. Art monitors who were busy this project were Maria Dias, Elisha Wright, Toby Robbings,

Sophie Elliott, Erin Wright, Amelia Andrews-Jones, Archie Colquhon, Sadie Corney, Imogen Chapman, Millie Mills and Gracie Clements by Mrs O’Connor
